The colors didn’t all work out for me, but there are some solid new loves for me. If I had to pick one stand out it would be her new Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Palette. It’s worth noting that Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks smell like delicious vanilla frosting. I don’t notice the smell after applying the lipstick though. If you’ve tried this new shade, let me know what you think!

I’m reposting swatches I had from a previous review below. It also has a satin finish compared to a matte finish in the other two. If I’m being honest it’s probably the most I’ve ever paid for a lipstick.
Pillow Talk Desk Eyes (Enhance)
I could see using 3 of its shades for a monochromatic, simpler look for business or for others who need a quick, easy look. Plus having that singular pop for day into evening usage. Debating whether to buy this or the Pillow Talk quad, as this palette is quite the investment. From the first two trios you can kind of get the same look as in the quad, though I prefer the Day Smoke shade than the pink in the Original Pillow Talk quad. Absolutely love the Smoke in the Date look, I think it would look beautiful on green eyes. Again, I am glad this performed well but there are just too many shadows here that I either wouldn’t use of are too similar to other shades I already own so I won’t be getting this.

They blend themselves and the colours are incredibly flattering on pale skin with blue eyes. Hi AB,I bought the Charlotte Tilbury quad Vintage Vamp about 2 years ago now. It was a big deal to buy one of her quads and I picked it up in Vancouver, BC while visiting there. I have used it twice and both times it was dry, dusty, blended to a murky mess and just wasn’t anything I want to use again.
The three darker shades are just too similar, even with one being a very shimmery shade. If they’d one of the mattes a a lot lighter or darker, or at least made one a satin, it would have helped. I didn’t even check to ensure the weight was the same as the last palette released. I’m so sorry for causing you confusion and having you have to waste your time with this comment! The product describes this as an “all over glow” highlighter. I found them too glowy to be used all over the face.
Talking about beauty products and why they are hyped, rediscovering products that you already have, and resisting the hype and marketing. Resisting hyped beauty products and trends, and rediscovering your favorites. You can also extend the wear of this lipstick by filling in and lining the lips with the pillowtalk lip pencil before applying. In terms of being long-lasting, I would say these lipsticks do a great job of staying in place for several hours without having to do touch-ups. This will definitely be a lipstick I grab for date nights, and it’s a great shade for special occasions.

I also like a monochromatic vibe, though the Pillow Talk lipstick washes me out. Yeah, I don’t know how well this will work on medium or darker skin tones. I felt like it was close to washing me out, and I’m more light to light-medium. Charlotte Tilbury has decoded her artistry into an easy 2-step ritual to recreate that youthful flush of first love that she calls a “love glow”.

The Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow ($40) was relaunched in this collection. I bought both the last round but never used them so I gifted them away. The color is beautiful but I’m not a fan of the packaging style and it is too dewy for my cheeks. If you’re a fan of the dewy cheek look (like the Chanel Baume Essentiel) then I think you will love this.
There is also a Pillow Talk Intense Cheek to Cheek Blush ($40) and Pillow Talk Medium Lip Cheat Lip Liner ($22). These gorgeous lipsticks are the perfect blend of warm and cool tones and fall somewhere between a warm blush pink and a natural-toned nude. On the other hand, the medium pillow talk lipstick is equally as gorgeous and adds the perfect “pop of color”. I really love this palette, it has become my go-to for an every day look, but I agree that the darkest shade isn’t dark enough. If you like a very monochromatic look and rosy warm tones then this might be for you. I usually add a little of the darkest brown shade from the CT Sophisticate palette for a little more depth in the outer crease.
It’s a drier, dustier set of shades, and the monochromatic nature of it didn’t come together as well as I expected as they shades ran too much into each other. If the last shade was a few shades deeper, it would have made the quad more versatile and more likely to work across skin tones. The frostiness of the first shade didn’t jive as well with the mattes, and it all ended up looking dusty on my lid. Pillow Talk Dream Eyes (Enhance) is a medium-dark red with warmer undertones and a metallic sheen. The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and easy to work with. It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly and blended out well along the edges.
They weren’t the best pictures, and now I have several more shades in my collection for a proper swatch comparison post. The shade extension to the Pillow Talk line includes deeper shades of the original lipstick and blush. The Pillow Talk Medium is in the matte revolution formula ($34) and Pillow Talk Intense is in the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula.
What strikes me most is how different the swatches are from the official Tilbury site. I always find the ‘pop’ shades to be the weakest in her quads (too dry and too much fall out), I was surprised when she released the two pop palettes at the end of last year. There are two new highlighters called the Pillow Talk Multi-Glow Beautifying All Over Glow Highlighter ($45 each). There are two variations in Romance Light and Dream Light. Each palette has a mix of finely milled shimmers and a couple sparkle shades.
I liked this color in the tube, but it just didn't work with my skin tone; it seemed to have a gray tint to it when it was on my lips. I have fair skin with a generally neutral undertone but with a cool pink/red tone on my lips and cheeks. This color would have looked fine on a "younger" me, but not on the currently-aged me.
I think it could have still had a bit more contrast, though, and still been as easy to use, since the formula was easy to sheer out. It’s nice….but I seriously just don’t get the hype surrounding this quad. I’m not sure if it’s because others are using this with primer or are just enjoying the simplicity of it?
The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with a smooth, velvety feel that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well. It wore well for eight hours before showing signs of fading. Pillow Talk Dream Eyes (Smoke) is a brighter, pinky-red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer, while the texture was smooth, velvety, and substantial without being too powdery nor too firmly-pressed into the pan. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before I noticed fading.
Seems as though she does indeed lack inclusion of anyone Medium or beyond. The only exception may be those Cat-eyes e/s singles from a few years back, which would have worked on anyone and everyone! Unfortunately, that’s where the brand’s inclusiveness ends. Hers is not the only brand guilty of excluding us, but it is one that does so in a way that makes it a brand that only barely gets my attention for that reason. Whilst this isn’t my kind of palette, I think it has been well done. The shimmer and matte shades had both decent pigmentation and depth to them.
